Dear Blog,

I'm sorry that we haven't spoken in nearly a month. My life has been super busy. I'm not ignoring you on purpose, but sometimes the little man just comes first in my life. I may possibly be visiting you soon. I need to post pictures from my mom's birthday. Memorial day, & life with the little man. Plus, I need to post pictures of my new do--if only I was posting pictures of my dude, but no. The little man growing so much. Can you believe we've been together for almost a year? And he'll be 2 next month. If I don't check in with you soon, it's not my fault, I have a family reunion to attend and friends to see.

Until next time, don't forget about me :)

My Etsy Shop!

I've started selling my jewelry online. I opened up an Etsy shop, and I am hoping it's a success. If you have a minute, take a look. I still have more jewelry to post tomorrow. Also, feel free to come back and give me some constructive criticism ;)

New addictions!

Has it really been a month this I've updated this? I have a few new addictions that have been keeping me busy! I've been making bracelets & jewelry. It's been so fun, but it's addicting!

I've also been bitten! I always swore I'd never read the Twilight books. Well, I watched the movie with Jen & the kids about a month ago, and was so intrigued that I had to buy the books. They have me hooked. I'm only in the 3rd book but between Evan, my jewelry making, going out of town and my books I haven't been online much.

Marley & Me

I am so excited for this movie to come out on DVD tomorrow. Jennifer, Kristin & I went to see it a few months ago in at the theatre, and I just loved it. I seriously made me want to go out and buy a lab. It also reminded me of a trip I went on with Tasha almost 2 years ago. Has it seriously been that long? She called me one day, and asked me for a "big favor" as she put it. She found a chocolate lab in Panguitch, and needed help picking it up. She wanted to surprise Brent with it. And her car wouldn't make it so. So I drove up to Cedar, and picked her up, and we made our way to Panguitch. We pulled up to the "Puppy Farm", and there was this big..okay medium...sized Chocolate lab in the front yard. And I look at Tash, and say "There is no way that thing is going to fit in my car, much less, stay still in my car all the way back to Cedar." We get out of the car, and go pick her new puppy up. Still in the back of my mind, I am thinking "Oh boy, that dog is huge, what did I get myself into?" Next thing I know, we see all of these tiny little chocolate colored puppies. They were the cutest little dogs I've ever seen. Right away, we realize that dog in the front was the mom. Her owner said that she gotten pregnant before becoming full grown, so it all suddenly made sense. Tasha picked out the cute little male chocolate lab with the big blue eyes and huge paws! So dang cute! So, that's how Grizzley came about.

I lub you!

My 3 favorite words!!! My life is dull without the little man. This morning, I told him I missed him this weekend, and he replied "me too, nette!". He keeps me on my toes, and there is never a dull moment. And we laugh and laugh and laugh! I am so lucky to have such a great little man in my life!

Where has March gone?

I've been such a slacker at keeping up on my blog. I guess that's what happens when you are working 12 hours a day, and sometimes more!

This month has been so fun!

  • Jonathan, Kathleen & the kids came up for the weekend to see Jen's family, and I tagged along! It was a fun weekend full of shopping, eating out, going to movies, and pampering--thanks Brittany & Jennifer!
  • My mom & Stephanie came up the next weekend! We went to Cheesecake Factory on Friday night--so good, but the patio was soo cold! Next time, I'll remember to bring a jacket! On Saturday, we took Evan to Disney on Ice. I was kind of disappointed in the show. The show much better in November. This time, they only highlighted 4 of the Disney movies, where in November, they highlighted all of the Disney movies. It's okay though because I had a good time with family and the little man! On Sunday, we went to the Original Pancake House in Sugarhouse, oh boy, that place is so good!!! Afterwards, we went for a walk around Temple Square. So beautiful in the Spring! On Monday, the little man & I took my mom & Steph to the Thanksgiving Point Farm on their way out of town. It was a nice windy day, but we enjoyed seeing the animals. A day doesn't got by that Evan does ask me where Cheryl & Step an neee went. I tell him they went home to St. George, and then he almost always says "Oh yeah". He loves them, just as much as I do.
  • Evan & I enjoyed a few days of Spring weather this month. It was so nice to be able to go to Liberty Park and play in the sun, but it didn't last for long. As I look out the window, I see 6 inches of freshly fallen snow.
  • This last week, Kathleen & Jonathan had to come back up here for Jon's work meeting, so while he was at work, Kathleen, Jen, the little man, & I went and walked the mall and the shops. It was fun to spend time with the girls. Evan fell in love with Kathleen, and got to see his Jennifer.
  • I was also able to meet up with my friend Kaylene!! We checked out this new place in American Fork for dinner, and just had a good time catching up. A few days later, I got to meet up with some girls from an online moms group. They have been so nice to let me join in out their group even though I am just a nanny. It was a fun night full of lots of laughs.
Those are just a few of the highlights this month! April will be just as busy with Easter, a cousin's baptism, going home for a few days, and the beautiful Spring(I hope, I am crossing my fingers) weather!
